There doesn't seem to be any way to edit reviews or reply to the Author's Response so I've had to do this as if it was a second review. I've written two Reiver stories loosely within the Buffyverse parameters.
"Days of No Trust" ( http://www.speaker-to-customers.me.uk/historical/dont.htm ). A witch from a Reiver family faces peril in Coquetdale in 1580. & "Deid Canny" ( http://www.speaker-to-customers.me.uk/buffyverse/dc.htm ). The sequel, set in 1613, in which an exiled Reiver serving as a mercenary in the Thirty Years War becomes a vampire.

I'd be very interested in an mp3 of the song version.

Very interesting! I had thought that I was the only person who had combined the worlds of the Reivers and the Buffyverse (but with a Reiver vampire rather than a Slayer, so I can't post it here).

The idea of actually writing the story in the form of a song is highly original. It did make the tale a little hard to read, though, and I would have preferred it if you had written a conventional narrative and then followed it with the song version as an appendix.

Author's Response: Okay, trying this again - responses to reviews haven't been working! (Tried when you first posted the review, then forgot about it... think problem may have been fixed now.)rnrnSo, thanks! I would be interested in reading your reiver vampire story, where is it?rnrnYeah, a song written down is never going to have the proper effect. I am hoping that I will be getting it recorded with some friends later this year, as it'll be much better heard than just read, I hope.
